Cause:

This error occurs when closing Microsoft Excel while an Excel worksheet section is still open in an Office Binder. Choosing 'Close' will close Excel but an error message may appear. The error is because the View Outside command was used to open the Excel worksheet and an action was performed in the Office Binder section (e.g., open, close, save).

Solution:

Close the worksheet in Excel before making changes to the section in the Office Binder.
